Use a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals such as ammonia or alcohol, which can damage the coating. For stubborn dirt, a solution of distilled water and white vinegar, or a special screen cleaner, is suitable. Always spray the liquid onto the cloth, never directly onto the screen, to prevent moisture from entering the device.
Avoid direct contact with sharp objects such as keys or pens. A good-quality screen protector provides an effective barrier against scratches and minor impacts without significantly affecting touch sensitivity. Also, be careful with jewelry, such as rings, which can accidentally damage the screen surface during use.
Do not expose the touchscreen to extreme temperatures, either hot or cold, as this may damage internal components. Also avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which may cause overheating and discoloration of the display. Store and use the device in a moderate, dry environment to maximize its lifespan.
Modern touchscreens, such as PCAP screens, require only a light touch. Applying excessive pressure is unnecessary and may damage the sensor layers. Also, avoid hard impacts or dropping the device, as the physical shock can damage both the screen and the internal electronics. Use a fingertip or suitable stylus for safe operation.
