PalmSens came in contact through an existing client with Dytos. At that time, they were in the middle of developing a new lactosimeter. The display had already been selected, equipped with a standard touchscreen. The question to Dytos: "Can you glue a cover glass on this?"
Of course we could. But we were happy to think along. Why not buy the separate display and combine it with a custom touch panel - including COF (Chip-on-Flex) and integrated capacitive button?
This created one complete solution for device control. No more separate button, no extra IC. Everything neatly integrated into a streamlined design.
The project is now in production, and in our opinion it has become a wonderful solution - smart, efficient and industrially robust.
Through a German glass supplier, we have now been in contact for over 7 years with Alpitronic, a leading player in the field of fast chargers for electric vehicles.
The project grew into one of the biggest success stories of Dytos. With now more than 40,000 installations worldwide Are our outdoor HMI solutions extensively tested in the most demanding conditions - From icy cold to scorching sun.

Bravilor was our very first project - and how happy we were when we got the redeeming word through Quant Consultancy:
"We're going to start!"
It involved an HMI solution for Bravilor's first coffee machine with an interactive touchscreen - one of the first of its kind in the market.
We developed a 7" PCAP touch sensor with EETI controller, tempered glass from Irlbacher and a high-quality display.
And now, 13 years later, we still produce that HMI. Since this year even in a 12.1" designwith the same dedication and precision as then.
That for us is the real meaning of partnership: growing together, improving and continuing to innovate.
