Touch sensors
Projected capacitive (pcap) touch is one of the most popular technologies for creating touch applications such as kiosk systems, notebook computers and HMI systems.
Pcap-touch sensors
Pcap touch technology is based on capacitive sensitivity and provides a fast, accurate and simultaneous multi-touch response.
Pcap touch sensors consist of one or two layers of conducting material that help take an x and y axis measurement. This is then calculated into a position on the screen.
Pcap multi-touch technology is plug-and-play compatible with Windows and supports specific touch functions such as pinch (zoom in), stretch (zoom out), swipe (left, down, up, right and sideways) and rotate. The correct drivers for many other operating systems, such as Mac, Linux and Android, are usually available too.
The pcap touch sensor can detect change in capacitance through materials (cover), making it possible to place protective materials such as glass and plastic in front of the sensor. The cover can vary in thickness and can be fitted with an anti-reflection coating or optional printing. We can create numerous custom touch applications.
Pcap touch technology is used in popular products such as iPads, iPhones, and other tablets and smartphones.
Custom touchscreens
Dytos is the leading specialist in tailor-made touch solutions. Thanks to our many years of experience using pcap touch, we can help you in choosing the right cover and sensor for you. We also have the knowledge and necessary tools to tune the touch sensor and integrate it into your application.
Buttons and sliders
For special applications additional buttons and sliders can be created next to the screen using just one pcap sensor.
The software assigns pecific positions to certain functions that allow you to expand your application with additional functionality.
